Cleveland’s Scene Magazine held a super fun whiskey tasting event in December, but now it’s vodka’s turn to be in the spotlight. Saturday, Feb.28th is your chance to enjoy year 2 of Cleveland’s premier vodka-tasting event, cleverly named Vodka Vodka. At this event, vodka enthusiasts can meet specific brand representatives who will offer their unique take on taste, distillation, personal perspectives, and product knowledge.
If you’re not terribly interested in vodka facts, you can spend your time dancing to live music, sampling local foods, and trying out signature cocktails. Note: appetizers are included with your ticket but may go fast, especially if you aren’t there during the VIP hour. I recommend grabbing something to eat before the event to hold all that vodka. This year, the event will be Casino Royale-themed so dig up your best Bond girl dress and get to looking dangerous. There will be a coat check at the door, and I suggest you sport something heavy as the weather is calling for a low of 9° with a 20% chance of snow. Heels are encouraged since Cleveland’s RED Space incorporates only a few steps to climb, valet service is available, and you need hot shoes to complete your look.
The event takes place from 7 to 11 pm (VIP from 7 to 8 pm) and is a 21+ event. Similar to the Cleveland Beerfest, tickets will be split according to number of drinks and time you spend.
General Admission: $30 – includes 10 vodka samples, souvenir glass and limited appetizers.
VIP Admission: $40 – includes 15 vodka samples, souvenir glass, 1-hour early entrance, and limited appetizers.
Designated Driver: $20
Day-of admission, if available, is $40 for General Admission (VIP not available day-of).
